Phasma, palabra griega que designa a forma, aparición, visión, fantasma y, por lo tanto presagio; nos anticipa el carácter de las imágenes que aparecerán.
En las dos series, esgrafiados y cianotipias, las imágenes guardan un secreto, en el sentido de esconder algo a la vista. Intentar revelarlas nos confronta con su propia naturaleza. ¿De que están hechas las imágenes?
Los dibujos sugieren e insinúan formas inestables, flotantes, temblorosas. Crean un espacio de suspenso, donde el tiempo se demora. Se retrasa la acción, aquello que está para venir. Intuimos que alguien tiene el que se ha perdido, aquello que falta, que se ha escondido. Porque solo aparece lo que antes fue capaz de ocultarse. Ante esta ausencia, el sentido vacila y, en esta vacilación, emerge el fantástico.

In the two series, sgraffito and cyanotype, images keep a secret, in the sense of hiding something in sight. Trying to reveal them confronts us with their own nature. What are the images made of?
Drawings suggest and hint at unstable, floating, trembling forms. They create a space of suspense, where time is delayed. The action is postponed, that which is to come. We sense that someone has what has been lost, what is missing, what has been hidden. Because only appears what was previously able to be hidden. In the face of this absence, meaning wavers and, in this wavering, the fantastic emerges.
