XI Bienal de arte de Girona 2021
Interval es una instalación creada a partir del proyecto de investigación de la beca Kreas 2021 en el área de Les Pedreres, Girona. El dibujo sobre papel a escala real, a partir de la técnica del frottage, registra la puerta de entrada de una garita de vigilancia de uno de los polvorines. La pieza incorpora la proyección del paso del sol a través de una línea roja en movimiento.
Es el registro físico y temporal sobre este elemento arquitectónico de defensa, observación y resguardo, construido sobre la memoria de los vestigios del fuerte de los capuchinos en 1707. La instalación construye físicamente la entrada que enmarca un tiempo incierto, un tiempo de espera. Porque en el vacilante intervalo, para que en lo oscuro haya algo aferrable– Friedrich Hölderlin

Interval is an installation created from the research project of the Kreas 2021 grant in the area of Les Pedreres, Girona. The drawing on real-scale paper, using the technique of frottage, records the entrance door of a watchtower of one of the powder kegs. The piece incorporates, with a red line in motion, the projection of the passing of the sun.
It is the physical and temporal record of this architectural element of defense, observation and shelter, built on the memory of the vestiges of the Capuchin fort in 1707. The installation physsically builds the entrance that frames an uncertain time, a waiting time.
